Belgian Style Golden Strong
A pale, complex, effervescent, strong Belgian-style ale that was originally developed by the Moortgat Brewery after WWI as a response to the growing popularity of Pilsner beers. Marriage of fruity, spicy, and alcohol flavors. Reminiscent of pears, oranges, or apples.
Easy-drinking with subtle flavors that bring out the best in fall. Slightly malty in the balance with an initial soft toffee/caramel sweetness.
Entry-level malted beer with that classic feel. Malty and lightly hoppy. Hop flavor and aroma complement and enhance the malt rather than clash with it. Moderately high malty-sweet and malty-rich flavor with chocolate, caramel, nutty complexity.
